Dual-Wall Heat Shrink Tubing has an inner adhesive wall that melts, flowing into voids while outer wall shrinks making a tight waterproof connection. Tubing provides an insulated, abrasion resistant, waterproof and flame retardant covering for general purpose applications. When cut and used over a terminated connection it acts a strain relief and helps prevent corrosion. Tubing is measured by it’s inside diameter before shrinking. Cut desired length of tubing, slip over harness, wires, etc. Make the wire end connection and slide tubing back over connection. Slowly apply 230°F heat around tubing until it has shrunk completely around wire and connection. Cool for a tough waterproof and insulated connection. Shrink Ratio 3 to 1
